Hi Barry

Last Friday afternoon when we had our little competition on Alhaurin golf course in Anders group, I made a Hole-in-One on hole No10 with a 9 Iron!!  Unbelievable but true. I have a certificate now. The rest of the day I was flying on a cloud of joy. I would like to thank you very much for all your help last week. I never thought I would experience this and most likely I will not once again. Thanks to this I also won the Ladies´ Competition.

After playing golf for 6 years and with a handicap of 18 I did not want anyone to change my swing. When I met Barry, the first thing he said was "I am not going to change your swing." he then quickly identified 4 main areas for me to work on, giving me easy drills to work on at home. Within two weeks, not only was I playing better, I actually won my first tournament in over a year at the Marbella Country Club.

Being an 11-hcp player and being middle aged, I am always wary of approaching new teachers, as they tend to suggest significant adjustments that destroy the swing for the rest of the season. Barry is different, he has a good eye for the situation, assess what is truly important, and suggest small alterations step-by-step. What I also appreciate with Barry, is his diligent and thorough approach, we discuss the potential amendments form a practical and theoretical angle, you get at times written notes, and all the latest video-techniques are used. No stones are unturned.

Dear Barry Many thanks for all your help with my golf. Prior to the lessons, I was finding it rather difficult to get started and feel confident on the golf course.

Having lessons with the other ladies on Sunday morning improved my short game enormously and I had the opportunity of meeting other people who were very friendly. Now I have to work further on my woods and am looking forward to further lessons from you at Magna Marbella in the New Year.

Before I met Barry, I struggled for many years to reach a 36 handicap, without much success. After a couple of months with Barry, I succeeded to improve my golf beyond my wildest expectations, and even managed to win two golf tournaments in the space of a few weeks! (One at Doña Julia and one at San Roque).

I would not have done it without Barry´s coaching, though. Instantly, he saw the movements that weren't right, and taught me the correct ones instead. He showed me exactly what I needed to change, so that I for the first time understood it clearly. For instance, on his computer he showed me clips of my swing that he had video-taped, compared to the swings of several golf professionals. Everything in slow-motion, so I could see exactly for myself what the differences were and where the problems arose.

It is clear that Barry has much more profound knowledge of the anatomical movements of the golf swing than other pros - and is able to communicate it more effectively. He communicates brilliantly with children as well. In just one hour's lesson, he was able to teach my 9-year-old son to correct his "over-swing", which he had been struggling with for a long time. I cannot recommend Barry enough - he is the best!

Hi Barry. The routine has been really useful although, being really busy at work the last month, I have only managed to get out on the course twice. However I did notice a big difference both with the short putts that I would usually miss as most of the time they're going in and the long putts in that the whole stroke feels different and I'm getting close by design rather than fluke - I even holed about a 30 ft putt which would have been unthinkable before.

I've been practicing in the house (you know what the weather is like over here) but I'm hopefully get out more soon but even that helps a lot at the moment with the actual stroke, stance, set up etc even if the pace is a bit different.

Anyway thanks a lot for your help - I'll definitely look you up for a longer pitching lesson next time I'm out.

Hi Barry, thanks we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday! Thanks for the lessons they were very enjoyable and hopefully will fix my game totally in due course. I don’t think I have ever shot 3 birdies on the trot before I must have been aiming in the right direction (was that 3 birdies?). Thanks again and hopefully will be in contact re trip in October.

Hi Barry. Just wanted to thank you for your time and patience and I have stuck with the changes and I can see the difference already my irons are hitting longer and I have had a few chips in from the side of the green to the amazement of my playing friends who are not too happy.
